C2S COATED ART PAPER
C2S Coated art paper, also known as coated printing paper, is called powder paper in Hong Kong and
other regions. It is a premium printing paper made of base paper coated with white paint. It is mainly used for printing the
covers and illustrations of high-level books and periodicals, color pictures, various exquisite commodity advertisements, samples, commodity packaging, trademarks, etc.
Can be divided into single-sided or double-sided coating. Flat paper and roll paper are available. Quantity is generally
70~150g/m2, and there are also double-sided coating up to 180~250g/m2. The paper quality is uniform and tight, the whiteness is high (above 85%), the paper surface is smooth and glossy, and the coating is firm and consistent, which is convenient for obtaining exquisite and clear patterns and texts after printing. Coated base paper is made from bleached chemical wood pulp or partially bleached chemical straw pulp on a paper machine. With base paper as the paper base, white pigments (also known as clay, such as kaolin, talc, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, etc.), adhesives (polyvinyl alcohol, casein, modified starch, synthetic latex, etc.), and other auxiliary materials (such as gloss agents, hardeners, plasticizers, dispersants, wetting agents, opalescent agents, optical brighteners, toners, etc.), uniformly coated on a coating machine, and dried and super calendered made.
